still my 21st invite, but not designed as a ticket any longer. It is now a record!

Websites & images
image size, pixels, compatibility...
felt very confused and not engaged. Felt left behind. I suppose it is all still a bit daunting.

WEEK 5
Today I am experimenting ideas for my publication. I have narrowed it down to two ideas and I feel passionate about both....
My 21st birthday is coming up YAY! Apparently this is the biggest milestone and party of your life and will hold a lot of memories to reflect upon. My idea for the invitation is for it to be unlike an ordinary invite and be quite different and creative. I'd like to create some kind of ticket. Possibly an interpretation of Ticketek concert tickets or a Golden Ticket like Willy Wonka's. This would be challenging to form some kind of replica of these tickets. I can imagine it would be a tedious project, though I would be proud of the end result of the product. Below are some examples of the design I desire...

Calendar
Designing a calendar would be quite creative as there are so many different ways of doing so. The theme of the calendar would be something personal to me. I am apart of a performance group who are in midst of launching their company, Curly Girl Burlesque. A calendar would be a good source of promotion and advertising. Images could include whole-group shots, individual characters of the troupe, and on-stage performance pics. Such designs could be similar to the following...

A new & improved CV!
YAY Today was a bit more creative! We could improve our Resumes by using colour, an image, bordered/lined text-boxes & extending it to more than 1 page. This you would think would be considered an easier task compared to last weeks....but no! Because there were less rules and more creative input, I found it harder to compose. I couldn't decide on a complimentory colour scheme to use throughout the CV that didn't make it look too much like a newsletter.
I ended up with a CV that was 1 page, had an image and title, and followed a repeated pattern with titles being in colourful text-boxes and borders. I chose to make a Performance CV to possibly use for dancing/singing/acting/performing auditions, which I think represented me swell.
